Taco Mix

You’ll need: 1 packets of Tubs Croustades (16 pieces)
Ingredients:
1 yellow onion
2 garlic cloves
2 tablespoons rapeseed oil
400g ground meat (or vegetarian mince)
1/2 packet taco seasoning mix
1 teaspoon sambal oelek
1/2 dl mild taco sauce
1-2 dl aged grated cheese
PICKLED RED ONION:
1 red onion
3 tablespoons distilled white vinegar (12%)
1/2 dl granulated sugar
1 dl water
Tip: Always start by picking out all the ingredients and tools you need!
STEP 1
Pickled red onion: Peel and thinly slice the onion. Bring water, vinegar, and sugar to a boil. Remove from heat and add the onion. Stir occasionally. Let it sit for about 30 minutes.
STEP 2
Preheat the oven to 225°C.
STEP 3
Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Sauté them in rapeseed oil without letting them brown. Add the ground meat and cook until dry and crumbly. Mix in sambal oelek, taco sauce, and seasoning mix to create a taco filling.
STEP 4
Distribute the mixture into the croustades and sprinkle grated cheese on top. Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes.
STEP 5
Top the baked croustades with the pickled red onion and serve.
